Christmas Wishes 2024 – Family 089

We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Now we’re asking you and your family (friends, colleagues, etc) to considering sponsoring this family.

If you would like to sponsor this family, please read the description below and fill out the form.

Two parents and their teenage son, parents are separated but co-parent very well and have the best interest of their child and their emotional and mental health needs first. Son is preparing for college next year and has achieved academic excellence all while navigating significant mental health obstacles. Mother has survived through cancer treatment and recent surgery. Father works hard to provide care to the child and maintain positive communication with client’s mother to best support his needs. Both parents work very hard to financially provide within both separate homes. Family continues to be supportive and loving towards one another and would love to make this holiday season great! Child #1: Son, 17, enjoys listening to music, using all types of technology including gaming and he has even built his own computer system! He would benefit from receiving gift cards where he could purchase items to decorate his dorm room in the fall (Marshall’s/HomeGoods). Would like gift cards for places like Dunkin Donuts and “Xbox”/GameStop. Parent/guardian #1: Mother would benefit from receiving self-care items such as Marshall’s gift cards, items for holistic healing as well as grocery and gas gift card. Parent/guardian #2: Father enjoys cooking and barbequing and enjoys listening to classic rock. Father would benefit from receiving a gas gift card as his daily work commute is over an hour. He would also benefit from receiving a grocery store gift card.
