The contest begins 12:01am on Monday September 14, 2015 and ends at 11:59pm on Friday October 16, 2015.
The Birthday Payday contest will air twice a day, Monday through Friday only.
Randomly selected birthdays including a month and day will be announced at approximately 7:45am and 4:45pm. Birthday dates will be randomly selected and are likely to be different at each announcement time. Duplicate dates can occur.
Listeners with matching birthdates to the date announced on the air will have until 8am for the 7:45am announcement and 5pm for the 4:45pm announcement to call the WQRC 99.9 The Q studio line to claim their Birthday Payday prize.
The first caller with the correct matching birthday to call 1-844-843-7999 and get through to the station host will claim the prize.
Prize awarded on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday will be $100.00
Prize awarded on Thursdays will be $200 if the chosen winner has signed up for the WQRC email subscription list before the prize is awarded.
If the winner’s full information does not match the WQRC email subscription list (know in the contest as the “What’s Happening Email Blast”) or the winner is not subscribed before the prize is awarded, the default prize will be $100.
Designated winner must show photo ID with proof of their matching birthday month and day to claim their prize. This proof must be presented to station personnel before checks will be processed and within one week of winning.
Birthdate proof can be any form of government photo ID including, driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.
Check processing time will take up to ten (10) business days. Cape Cod Broadcasting Media will notify winner when check is available for pick up. Checks will not be processed before proof of birthdate is presented.
Checks will NOT be mailed. Winners must prove both identity and birthdate before taking possession of prize. If birthdate of “winner” does not match the exact date (month and day) of birthdate announced on the air they forfeit contest prize and no new prize will be awarded.
