Cape League Report – June 20th, 2016

Harwich outlasted Falmouth one to nothing last night in their 11 inning contest. The only run of the game came in the bottom of the 11th thanks to a walk-off RBI single by Logan Farrar. The loss was the third in as many games for the Commodores.

The Y-D Red Sox won all three of their games last weekend boosting their record to 4-5. The Red Sox shut out Chatham last night with 7 runs.

Hyannis finally got a win on Saturday and they kept up the momentum last night with a win in Cotuit. Final score: Harbor Hawks 5, Kettleers 4.

While Orleans had 12 hits against the Gatemen, they were not able to turn them into runs and were defeated by Wareham 6-5.

And Brewster is now above .500 thanks to a 7-2 victory on the road in Bourne.

All 10 teams play tonight. Starting at 5, Y-D faces Harwich at home. The two 6:00 games are Brewster @ Falmouth and Bourne @ Hyannis. Chatham heads to Wareham at 6:30 and with first pitch at 7, Cotuit will face Orleans.
