Cape League Report – June 23rd, 2016

Angler pitcher Tony Dibrell had an impressive outing for Chatham last night when he went 6 innings against Y-D. The Red Sox only managed 3 hits against the righty from Kennesaw State and Joe Freiday got it done on the offensive side for the Anglers. Freiday slugged in a 2-run homer in the top of the 2nd as Chatham shut out the Red Sox 5-nothing.

Cotuit still just has one win this season as they lost 7-2 to Harwich last night. Hyannis won 3-1 at home vs. Wareham, it was 7-3 Orleans over Brewster and Bourne got the 7-2 W in Falmouth.

Complete schedule of games tonight as Hyannis travels to Brewster at 5. Falmouth and Cotuit play at Lowell Park, also at 5. With a 6:00 first pitch, Wareham faces Bourne. Chatham heads to Harwich at 6:30 and Orleans hosts Y-D at 7.
