Penguins earn 4th Stanley Cup title

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — The Pittsburgh Penguins earned their second Stanley Cup since 2009 by beating San Jose 3-1 to win the NHL championship in six games. Kris Letang scored his third goal of the playoffs at 7:46 of the second period to give the Penguins the go-ahead goal. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby won the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP of the playoffs.
