DENNIS PORT – A head on crash on Route 28 in Dennis Port yesterday evening sent two people to the hospital and closed the road for about a half hour.
Police and fire crews responded to the scene near the Improper Bostonian around 5 p.m.
According to Dennis Fire Captain Tony Kent, a Jeep collided with a Honda Pilot with both vehicles suffering heavy front end damage.
Both vehicles were only occupied by a driver and both were hospitalized.
Kent would not comment on either victims condition and would only say the driver of the Jeep was male and the driver of the Honda was female.
Kent also said the road was closed for about a half hour to transport the victims and to tow away the vehicles.
