WEST YARMOUTH – Yarmouth police arrested two women yesterday afternoon on multiple drug charges after a motor vehicle stop at the Tide Water Motel parking lot on Route 28 in West Yarmouth.
Police say they approached the suspicious vehicle just before 5 p.m. and found Laura Rouleau, 36, and Kara Bookach, 37, of Marstons Mills, in possession of 24 Suboxone strips without a prescription.
The drugs, along with $205 in cash, were seized, according to police.
Both women were placed under arrest and taken to Yarmouth Police Headquarters.
They are scheduled for arraignment Monday in Barnstable District Court on charges of conspiracy to violate drug law and possession of a class B drug.
Rouleau was also charged with intent to distribute.
