SANDWICH – Former Sandwich Selectman Tom Keyes is kicking off his campaign for State Representative tonight at the Sagamore Inn.
Keyes was a member of the Sandwich Board of Selectman for six years. He was also the chair of the Sandwich Economic Development Committee, as well as the deputy speaker of the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates.
Republican incumbent Randy Hunt decided not to run for re-election.
Keyes is currently the executive director of the North Atlantic Archaeological Collaborative.
He ran for Plymouth-Barnstable State Senate in 2010 and 2012.
The event takes place from 6-8pm.
