
PROVINCETOWN – Two people trying to be the first couple to row across the Atlantic have ended their quest. The couple, James Caple and Cindy Way, departed Scituate Monday and were about 25 miles offshore when they called for assistance. In the exclusive video below, they told Cape Wide News a bad storm hit them Monday night causing a water leak. The craft began listing badly. A vessel from TowBoat US Provincetown responded and towed the pair back to shore. Coast Guard personnel were at the dock when the two arrived back on dry land.
