Brewster men arrested for Eastham B&E

EASTHAM – The Eastham Police Department reports that on Monday it responded to a report of a breaking and entering at the Box Lunch Restaurant located on Route 6 in Eastham.

According to police, the break-in occurred late in the day on Sunday and a small amount of cash was taken from the building. Through a follow-up investigation, a suspect was identified as Richard Crisp Jr., 29, of Brewster. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Crisp and a search warrant for his apartment in Brewster.

At approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, Crisp was placed under arrest with the assistance of the Brewster Police Department. Eastham and Brewster police officers subsequently searched Crisp’s apartment and evidence of the crime committed was located and seized.

Crisp is currently charged with Breaking and Entering in the Daytime with Intent to Commit a Felony and Larceny Over $250. Crisp posted $1,000 bail and was released Monday evening. He was scheduled to appear at the Orleans District Court on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
