HYANNIS – Hyannis firefighters were called to Barnstable Muncipal Airport after a pilot reported smoke in the cockpit after landing. The Beechcraft twin-engine plane made it to the gate and all the passengers disembarked safely. Officials believe an electrical component inside the plane burnt out causing the odor.
