If you are going to enter a whale, albeit an inflatable one, you might as well have a guide who’s named Jonah. Visitors at Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Brewster, got that chance as a 44′ long Humpback Whale replica was on display over school vacation. “Jonah” gave an informative look into the world of whales, interacting well with youngsters and providing facts that surprised me if not other adults. The highlight, of course, was going inside the whale…where eating, brain size and other interesting aspects of whales were discussed. Fun fact: do whales have bellybuttons?…Yes-as they are mammals. I recommend contacting the museum for future whale exhibits…in fact there is one on the Grey Whale 0n 2/24/17.
