The Cape Cod Museum of Art offers performances that warm us all season long, with shows running from January through mid-April. Individual and season tickets are available – shows are $24 for non-members. Tickets include same-day museum admission. Order yours here.

2/12, 10:30AM, Preventing Financial Scams & Fraud, JFK Hyannis Museum – Scudder Family Center for Civic Engagement, 2nd Floor – The JFK Hyannis Museum invites the community to a free educational program, “Preventing Financial Scams & Fraud,” presented in partnership with Cape & Coast Bank. The session will be led by Information Security Officer Paul Forni and Branch Manager Brendan Pike, who will offer practical guidance to help Cape Codders protect themselves from fraud, identity theft, and financial scams. Attendees will learn how to safeguard their personal and financial information—both online and offline—with actionable insights from local security experts. Pugsley, present a concert of works by Eastern European masters Arvo Pärt and Pēteris Vasks. Pärt’s L’Abbe Agathon, and Vasks’ Da PacemDomineLord Open Our Eyes, and the Fruit of Silence provide listeners with “food for the soul” music that reflects suffering and a longing for hope, inner freedom, silence, and faith. 2/28 @ 7:30PM & 3/1 @ 3:30PM, Beauty for Ashes: A Baroque Meditation by Gaudete Baroque Ensemble, Church of the Transfiguration, Orleans – Enter into this season of reflection with a Baroque meditation expressing both sorrow and joy. Featuring Vivaldi’s Sinfonia al Sancto Sepulcro, as well as works by Bach, Corelli, Purcell, and Albinoni’s beautiful Sonata a Cinque in A major, the music will paint “a crown of beauty for ashes and festive praise instead of despair.” (Is. 61:3) As you listen, be illumined by the frescoes and sacred art of the Church of the Transfiguration in Orleans. Boat America Courses 2026
Offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary – Nauset Flotilla. Massachusetts’ Hanson–Milone Act now requires boating safety education for many motorboat operators, with mandatory compliance deadlines: Anyone born on or after January 1, 1989 must complete a boating safety course this year. Anyone born before January 1, 1989 must comply by 2028. To help local boaters meet these requirements, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary – Nauset Flotilla offers the Boat America® Boating Safety Course, which meets Massachusetts boating safety education requirements. About the Course: Taught by certified U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors, nationally recognized boating safety course, suitable for new and experienced boaters, classroom-based and easy to follow. 3/1, 1PM, Workshop: Attracting Birds To Your Yard, CC Museum of Natural History – If you’re a gardener, this workshop, led by master gardener Fran Raleigh, who’s a botanist, ecologist and birder. Let these aural flowers brighten up the gray days of March. Dvořák’s lovely Serenade for Strings, written in the spring of 1875, is one of his most popular and frequently performed works. Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Piano, Violin, and Strings in D minor, composed when he was just 14(!) and only published in 1960, reflects the energy of youth and features virtuosic dialog between the soloists throughout!
