Cape Summer Outlook Tempered by Tariffs, Federal Layoffs

The Cape’s summer may see fewer visitors this year amid tariffs and federal cuts.

Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce CEO Paul Niedzwiecki says bookings are down compared to previous years, with family vacations usually the first to go when inflation and other economic challenges rise.

He adds that the Cape has also lost many Canadian visitors as trade feuds continue with the US.
