CapeFLYER Renames Bourne Stop After Roy Earl Jones III

BOURNE — The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is holding a dedication ceremony that will rename the CapeFLYER’s Bourne stop the ‘Roy Earl Jones, III Bourne Station.’

The station will be renamed in honor of the former Brewster fire chief and friend of the Transit Authority who passed away earlier this year in June due to illness at the age of 74.

The dedication ceremony will be held October 11 at 3 pm at the Bourne Station.
