The Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center says they’re ready to offer help for local military service members if the government shutdown begins impacting their wages.
Executive Director Jim Seymour says they have reached out to Coast Guard, Air Force, and other branches offering assistance, especially as SNAP food benefits are threatened.
