BREWSTER – Two women, one from Yarmouth and one from Orleans, were taken to Cape Cod Hospital yesterday after a head-on crash on Route 6A in Brewster near Tubman Road.
Police say a 2003 Subaru Forester driven by Juanita Perez, 72, of South Yarmouth crossed over the center line around 3:30 and hit a 2011 Toyota Corolla driven by Erin Elfers, 50, of Orleans that was going the other way.
Perez and Elfers were both taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Perez received a citation for a marked lane violation.
Brewster Police Captain Heath Eldredge said police are still investigating the cause.
