40-Year-Old Sandwich Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

SANDWICH – From Sandwich Police: On August 18, 2026, Sandwich Police Detectives, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Barnstable Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located in Sandwich, MA. As a result of the search warrant, 40-year-old Robert Sullivan of Sandwich was arrested on multiple Child Pornography charges. This search warrant and subsequent arrest was the result of a CyberTip received by the Massachusetts State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that was assigned to a task force officer from the Sandwich Police Department’s Detective Division. The CyberTip alleged that an online account, later identified to be Sullivan’s, possessed and disseminated child pornography.

Sullivan was arrested and then booked at the Sandwich Police Department on the following charges:
1) Possession of Child Pornography
2) Dissemination of Child Pornography

Sullivan was arraigned at Barnstable District Court on Wednesday August 19th, 2026, and ordered held on $25,000 cash bail. The investigation remains ongoing at this time. This case is being prosecuted by the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office.
