HYANNIS – About 400 Eversource customers in the area of Barnstable Road lost power about 8 AM. Eversource blames equipment damage for the outage. The utility hopes to have service restored by 2 PM. The traffic light at Barnstable Road and Center Street was reported not working. Motorists should treat such intersections as a 4-way stop.
By 11 AM the outage appeared to have been restored.
