DERRY, NH – Via Barnstable Police: On Monday August 10, 2026, at approximately 3:54 pm the Derry Police Department took the following individual into custody on a Derry Police arrest warrant:

Mr. Rettig has been charged with:
. Nine (9) counts of Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Images (Class A felonies) in violation of RSA 649-A:3-a I(a)
. Three (3) counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images (Class A felonies) in violation of RSA 649-A:3,I(a)
The investigation originated from a Cyber-tip to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), of which Derry PD is a participating member. The Derry Police Department investigation was assisted by the Weymouth MA Police Department and the Barstable MA Police Department.
Following his arrest, Mr. Rettig was held without bail, per statutory requirement, and brought to Rockingham County Jail.
Mr. Rettig is scheduled to be arraigned on August 11, 2026, at the 10h Circuit -District Division Court – Derry.
