Crash involving utility pole and rollover on Route 6A in Yarmouth Port

YARMOUTH PORT – Officials were called to the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash in Yarmouth Port. Two vehicles were reportedly involved with a Ford Explorer appearing to have rolled several times and striking a utility pole. A Toyota Camry also sustained heavy damage. The crash happened on Main Street (Route 6A) at Center Street about 2 PM Sunday. Firefighters had to extricate a victim from the wreckage. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Yarmouth Police.
