WEST YARMOUTH – Firefighters were called to a house fire in West Yarmouth shortly after 7 PM. Flames were showing from the home at 163 Higgins Crowell Road when crews arrived. Mutual aid was requested to the scene and to cover the Yarmouth stations. All occupants evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the residents with temporary housing. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
