BARNSTABLE – A large power outage was reported in the town of Barnstable shortly after 4 PM Saturday. Eversource’s outage map indicates at least 3,000 customers without electricity. According to initial reports, a transformer may have blown at a substation on Oak Street in West Barnstable. Shortly after 5 PM, the outage had been reduced to 30 customers.
