HYANNIS – Cape Cod Cares For The Troops will be holding their annual Christmas Care Package Event on Saturday, November 30 in Hyannis.
Teams of volunteers will be putting together 1200 Christmas Care Packages at Cape Gun Works for deployed troops overseas.
The organization is currently accepting donations of supplies for care packages and Christmas cards and letters to the troops.
Some of the items most needed are men’s deodorant, hand lotions, chap stick, shower/body wash, beverage singles, snack foods, granola/power bars, coffee singles, small items for Christmas Stockings.

Volunteers are welcome at the event on November 30.
Since the inception of Cape Cod Cares For The Troops, 34,175 care packages have been sent to troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Fort Belvoir WTB- Operation Santa: adopted 8 families in 2010, 11 families in 2011, 34 families in 2012, 40 families in 2013, 48 families in 2014, 58 families in 2015, 44 Families in 201, 52 families in 2017 and 43 families in 2018 providing gifts for their families and items they need while living in WWTU housing. In 2013 – 2018 hosted the “CCC4TT Christmas Party” for our wounded soldiers and their families.
