Couple charged with using heroin at closed beach lot in Yarmouth

YARMOUTHFrom Yarmouth Police: On June 6, 2019 at approximately 1AM, Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officers Liam Breen and Michael Chueng checked on suspicious white Honda Pilot in the parking lot at Parkers River Beach, which closed at 10PM.

Two people were found inside the vehicle passed out.
In between the passenger and the driver Police Officers observed two white bottle caps (with pieces of cotton in each of the two and one of the bottle caps had a clear hypodermic needle cap in it), and a Q-tip cotton swab located in front of the cup holders on a console lid indicating illegal drug use.

Both subjects were woken up, interviewed, and subsequently placed under arrest.

They were identified as Justin F. Hudson, 31 of Falmouth and Heather Giguere, 29, of Hyannis. Both were charged with possession of a Class A substance (heroin).

Inside the vehicle were multiple hypodermic needles on the floor, in the pockets of the doors, and in the center console.

Silver Cloud Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.

Both suspects were transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters.

Upon completion of the booking process, the Civilian Bail Commissioner set the bail at Personal Recognizance and both suspects were release upon paying the $40 Bail Commissioner fee.

Both suspects are scheduled for arraignment today in the Barnstable District court.
