DENNIS – From Yarmouth Police: Yarmouth Police Detectives, through a collaborative effort with the Dennis Police Department, executed a search warrant Tuesday night at a Mayfair Road residence in Dennis.
Upon executing the search warrant, Detectives uncovered multiple bags of crack cocaine weighing approximately 14.5 grams, a quantity of fentanyl and a small bag containing Alprazolam. Additionally, detectives located $147.00 cash.
As a result of the search warrant, Jasen Adkins, 44, of Sandwich, was arrested on two Outstanding Warrants and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) Subsequent Offense and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.
Tara Cooke, 42, of Dennis, was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine), Possession of Class A (Fentanyl), Possession of Class C (Alprazolam), and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.
They were both transported to the Yarmouth Police Department where they were booked on the charges. Cooke was released on personal recognizance and Adkins held without bail. Adkins and Cooke were arraigned in Orleans District Court on Wednesday.
