FALMOUTH – A death investigation was underway in Falmouth Monday evening. Shortly after 7 PM, emergency officials rushed to a residence on Carriage Shop Road between Old Barnstable Road and Hayway Road. An individual was found deceased in the residence prompting a large law enforcement response including State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s office. Police tape surrounded the scene.
Update: The Cape & Islands District Attorney’s office tells CWN foul play is not suspected in this incident.
