UPDATE 11/10/18: Wanted subject, Gina L. Giovangelo, has been arrested and is in custody.

BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Superior Court has issued a no-bail warrant for Gina Giovangelo, 26, of Webster, MA. Court paperwork indicates Giovangelo, who is reportedly eight months pregnant, tested positive for heroin before walking away from a court mandated drug treatment program. Giovangelo was wearing a GPS bracelet but the battery reportedly died.

Last August, Giovangelo reportedly gave a false identity to Yarmouth Police during a traffic stop. As a result of that stop, Giovangelo was charged with operating a vehicle while her license was revoked for M/V homicide. That revocation stemmed from a 2010 incident where Giovangelo was convicted of striking and killing Lillian White of Hyannis as she crossed North Street in a wheelchair and then leaving the scene. While in court for that offense, Giovangelo left the court building and was later captured in Wareham (right).

Anyone with information on Giovangelo’s whereabouts is urged to use caution and asked to immediately call police.
