Several ambulances called to Sandwich bridge dedication for heat related issues

SANDWICH – Several ambulances were called to Sandwich shortly after noon Sunday for victims reportedly suffering from heat related issues. The gathering was a Remember & Honor the life of Sandwich native, Ray Tourville with a bridge dedication in his name on the Quaker Meetinghouse Road overpass at Route 6. A level 1 Mass Casualty Incident was declared facilitate ambulances to the scene. Further details were not immediately available.
