HYANNIS – A downed power line forced the closure of Center Street in Hyannis shortly after 3:30 PM Monday. The wire apparently broke lose from its insulator causing an outage affecting 250 Eversource customers. Line crews were responding to repair the problem. Barnstable Police were detouring motorists around the scene.
