Downed tree causes crash on I-495 in Wareham

WAREHAM – The stormy weather caused a close call in Wareham. Shortly before 8 PM Tuesday, A large tree came down blocking a large section of I-495 near Exit 2 (Route 58) in Wareham. A car apparently trying to avoid the tree struck a guardrail. Luckily no serious injuries were reported. A MassDOT crew responded to cut up and remove the tree.
