ORLEANS – A car struck a utility pole in Orleans around 2 AM Sunday. The crash happened on Harwich Road (Route 39) south of the Route 28 rotary. The driver was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol. Eversource was called to replace the pole. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
