Falmouth, Harwich fire departments to graduate new recruits this week

STOW – The Falmouth and Harwich Fire Departments are among several around the state that will graduate recruits from the State Fire Fighting Academy this week.

State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Deputy Director Joseph Klucznik will present certificates of completion to members of the Career Recruit Firefighter Training Class 250 in a graduation ceremony on Friday, December 23, at 11:00 a.m.

The ceremony will take place at the Department of Fire Services in Stow. The guest speaker will be Medford Fire Chief Frank Giliberti.

In addition to Falmouth and Harwich, the graduates represent 18 other fire departments including Boxford, Devens, East Bridgewater, Everett, Hanson, Holden, Hopkinton, Lakeville, Medford, Methuen, Newton, Norwood, Salem, Seekonk, Westwood, Weymouth, Winthrop and Woburn.
