JOINT BASE CAPE COD – Fire crews responded to a brush fire at Joint Base Cape Cod sometime after 9 AM Saturday. Initial reports said about a half-acre was burning.
By 9:40 AM, the fire was reported contained but crews expected to remain on scene for some time to fully wet down the area.
