SANDWICH – Firefighters were called to the Daniel Webster Inn at 149 Main Street in Sandwich just before 1 PM Wednesday. An active fire was reported in a chimney at the establishment. No injuries were reported. Mutual aid was requested to assist at the scene and cover Sandwich fire stations.
