HARWICH – From Harwich Police: Harwich Cranberry Festival Parking and Traffic Saturday, September 19 and Sunday September 20
The Harwich Police Department would like to provide residents and visitors with the following traffic, pedestrian, and parking information for the upcoming Harwich Cranberry Festival.
To help ensure the safety and efficient movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic during the festival:
– Oak Street will be one-way northbound from Main Street.
– Pedestrians walking along Oak Street are required to utilize the southbound lane or the sidewalks. Pedestrians should remain alert and follow all directions from public safety personnel.
– Park Street will be closed to through traffic, with access limited to residents.
– Old Colony Road will remain open to all traffic.
– Festival parking will be available at Monomoy Regional High School, 75 Oak Street.
– Handicap-accessible parking will be available at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street.
Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted traffic and pedestrian signs, and allow additional time for travel and parking.
