HARWICH – From Harwich Police: Due to a WWII era ordinance being carried into the lobby , the lobby and parking lot of the Public Safety facility on Sisson Road are closed temporarily (Wednesday evening). The State Police Bomb Squad is en route to handle the situation. We remind the public that finding such ordinances is not uncommon; however, it is crucial to leave them untouched and call 911 immediately to ensure safety.
By 9 PM Harwich Police reported the lobby was reopened.
