BARNSTABLE – An investigation is underway after an excavator type vehicle on a truck struck the railroad overpass on Route 6A in Barnstable sometime after 10 AM Friday. Train traffic was stopped until an engineer can check the bridge. Vehicular traffic was also being slowed due to a hydraulic fluid spill at the location. The incident is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
