BOURNE – Bourne Fire is pleased to announce that Bourne Fire/Rescue has been awarded nearly $17,000 through the Massachusetts FY26 Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant Program.
These funds will support the replacement of 1,000 feet of supply fire hose and a positive pressure ventilation fan that are currently out of service. Additionally, remaining funds will be used toward the replacement of the thermal imaging camera assigned to the Shift Commander vehicle. While the current camera remains operational, it is approaching the end of its service life after nearly 15 years of use, and replacement parts are no longer available.
We appreciate the continued support of the State Fire Marshal’s Office and Governor Maura Healey for their commitment to firefighter safety and the Bourne community.
