ORLEANS – A major traffic crash was reported in Orleans shortly after 1 PM Sunday. According to reports, a car, box truck and a utility pole were involved with the passenger vehicle rolling on its side. Firefighters extricated the vehicle driver who appeared to have escaped any serious injury. Route 6A was closed between the Route 6 rotary and the Canal Road roundabout. Eversource was called to replace the pole.
By 1:30 PM. Orleans Police reported all roads had reopened.
