Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Route 6 in Truro

TRURO – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Route 6 near the Wellfleet line shortly around 1:15 PM Thursday. The victim was transported to the Marconi site in Wellfleet to meet a MedFlight helicopter to be flown to an off-Cape trauma center. Traffic already heavy due to the Carnival Parade in Provincetown was further delayed. Truro Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
