Motoryclist seriously injury after crashing into guardrail on Route 6

SANDWICH – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after reportedly crashing into the guardrail on Route 6 eastbound in Sandwich. The collision happened before the Chase Road exit about 10 PM Monday. The victim was transported to the former Henry T. Wing School to meet a MedFlight helicopter to be flown to an off-Cape trauma center. Mass State Police are investigating the crash which reduced traffic to one lane.
