Multiple injuries reported in single-vehicle crash on Route 6 in Barnstable

BARNSTABLE – Multiple injuries were reported after a single-vehicle crash on Route 6 in Barnstable sometime after 1:30 PM Sunday afternoon. The crash happened westbound between exits 7 and 6. Ambulances from Barnstable, Yarmouth, and West Barnstable were called to the scene to assess five victims. None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening. Traffic was heavily backed up in the area. The crash is under investigation by State Police.
