Bicyclist seriously injured in collision on Barnstable Road in Hyannis

HYANNIS – A bicyclist was transported to Cape Cod Hospital as a trauma alert following a collision in Hyannis sometime after 11:30 AM Wednesday. The crash happened on Barnstable Road at Center Street. Police detoured traffic off Barnstable Road between Elm and Willow Streets. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Further details were not immediately available.
