COTUIT – A permit fire reportedly got out of control in Cotuit Friday afternoon. Fire officials reported about a 1/4 acre was burning on Trout Brook Road shortly before 2:30 PM. Additional fire crews were called as they worked to protect residences in the area.
By 3 PM the fire was reported under control.
