BOURNE – A pickup truck was found submerged at the Taylor’s Point Marina on Academy Drive around noon Tuesday. No one was in the vehicle. Firefighters deployed booms to contain any possible leakage from the vehicle.
From Bourne Police: Tuesday at 12:56 PM, a red 1997 Ford F-350 operated by a 49-year-old male from Bourne was in the process of launching a boat at Taylors Point Boat Marina when the vehicle lost traction while driving back up the boat ramp. The vehicle began to slide down the ramp, becoming fully submerged in the water. The operator was the only occupant of the vehicle and was able to exit the vehicle without any injuries.
