PROVINCETOWN – Provincetown Firefighters responded to a chimney fire at the popular Atlantic House bar on Masonic Place late Saturday morning. Crews determined there was an active fire in the chimney. A hose line was stretched and the ladder truck ascended to the roof. Firefighters were able to confine the fire to the chimney.
Editor’s note: There were at least two major fires that started in the chimney at the Atlantic House during the 70s and 80s.
