Officers obtained the license plate number and the description of the vehicle, a black Lexus SUV, and began checking the area. Officers also received additional information that the Lexus nearly struck several trees and may have struck a utility pole while attempting to flee.
Additional officers checked the residence where the Lexus was registered and located the vehicle. The driver was contacted at the residence and identified as Paul Frisoli, 57, of Watertown, MA.
Following an investigation, Frisoli was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Property Damage. He was arraigned at Barnstable District Court on Monday.
