State Police seize 29 Grams of Cocaine during motor vehicle stop in Barnstable


BARNSTABLE
– From Mass State Police: This morning at about 12:45 a.m., Trooper Edward Alldredge stopped a gray Ford Fusion for motor vehicle violations.

The operator was identified as Joel Williamson, 36 of Hyannis. As a result of an investigation, Williamson was asked to exit the vehicle and found to be in possession of 29 grams of cocaine.

Williamson was placed under arrest and transported to the Yarmouth State Police Barracks where he was booked and held on $10,000 bail until his arraignment today in Barnstable District Court.

He was charged with the following offenses: Trafficking in Cocaine, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Speeding, and Marked Lanes Violation
