Three arrested after a Falmouth man was stabbed Monday night


FALMOUTH
– Falmouth Police reported the arrest of a 16-year-old, 17-year-old, and an 18-year-old in connection with a stabbing that occurred during an apparent drug transaction Monday night.

At 7:28 PM, officers were called to a home on Sam Turner Road after a report that a man had been attacked by three males, one with a knife.

Within minutes, police located the suspect vehicle on Teaticket Highway and arrested the involved subjects. Officers searched the car and found a knife believed to be used during the altercation.

The victim, a 20-year-old East Falmouth resident, was taken by Falmouth Fire Rescue to the Falmouth Hospital with a stab wound to his left torso. His wound was reported to be not life-threatening.

Samuel Cooper, an 18-year-old from East Falmouth, along with two juvenile males, will be arraigned on Tuesday for Attempted Armed Robbery, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (knife), Attempted Murder, and Conspiracy. One juvenile is from East Falmouth and the other is from Mashpee.
